PUBG Mobile India : Problem with Indian Politics 😓

Chairman of KRAFTON Chang Byung-gyu recently in a general meeting with a Korean media outlet Seoul Economy expressed a feeling of frustration regarding the re-launch of PUBG Mobile in India. 

When an industry official said, "Even if the distribution company changes, it is unlikely that the Indian government will allow re-launch as it is a game that is highly related to Tencent". The chairman Chang said the above "as the problem of India".

Tencent is the second largest share holder in KRAFTON with 16.4 %. In the third quarter of last year, it purchased an additional of shares narrowing the equity gap to 1% with the top stake holder.

This suggests KRAFTON is still in the process of trying to get confirmation from the India government (as of Jan 25) and there is no timeline or schedule for release of the game .
